Attention Boat Owners:
Tipitina’s Foundation first “The Landing Festival” will be held the weekend of September 26-27. Tradesmen are working and as you can see they have given that area a clean and fresh look with more work scheduled right up until the gate opens, which is 11:00 AM both days with the entertainment starting at 12:00 N.
In bound marina, airport tower and T-hanger automobile traffic will be allowed to travel down Stars and Stripes to Stearman, which is the road just prior to Mosquito Control and then you will take a right, down behind Mosquito Control to Sikorsky and right to the marina. Orleans Levee District Police Officers and FESS employees on duty at each turn and will be directing traffic.
Traffic will flow in both directions.
Entrance and Exit from the marina will be handled as in the past. Only vehicles with a parking permit will be allowed to park in the marina, guests of tenants will need to be escorted or met at the entrance gate to the marina. The Covered Boat Slip parking lot and the floating pier parking lot will be reserved for tenants and their guests.
The exit gate, at the rear, of the marina will be closed prior to September 26.
