Founded in 1975 by Richard and Ralph Duffy, Duffy & Duffy boat builders originally constructed fiberglass lobster boats in Brooklin, Maine. In 1995, the company merged with Flye Point Corp. to establish Atlantic Boat Company. This Maine-based company, still located in Brooklin, is renowned for building lobster boats and yachts. Atlantic Boat Company, known for its Duffy models, has undergone several ownership changes since the merger, with Cy Hannon currently at the helm.
