Engine Options:

  • Twin MAN V8-1000 diesel engines (1,000 HP each / 2,000 HP total)
  • Twin MAN V8-1200 diesel engines (1,200 HP each / 2,400 HP total) — standard spec for North America

Drive Systems: Straight shaft transmission / V-drive with bronze 4-blade propellers, stainless steel shafting, Electronic Vessel Control (EVC), underwater exhaust, electric bow thruster, and stern thruster with joystick control.

Major Optional Equipment:

  • Seakeeper 16 Gyro Stabilizer
  • Beach Mode fold-out balconies
  • Hydraulic high-low swim platform (tender lift capacity ~1,100 lbs)
  • Raymarine Axiom navigation suite
  • KVH TracVision HD7 satellite TV
  • Flybridge wet bar with electric grill/icemaker
  • Electric aft cockpit sunshade

Market Value Factors & Technical Assessment

Common Problems & Maintenance Hotspots:

  • Complex Hydraulic & Electrical Actuation: The fold-out side balconies (“Beach Mode”) and drop-down side windows require routine inspection of hydraulic seals, hinges, and electrical limit switches. Saltwater intrusion or lack of lubrication causes actuator binding or system error codes.
  • Superstructure Carbon Fiber Joints: Carbon fiber integration reduces topside weight but requires targeted survey inspection for micro-cracking, gelcoat stress crazing, or flexing around hardtop support pillars and flybridge mounting points.
  • Panoramic Glass Heat Transference: Large salon windows create high thermal loads in Southern climates. Units without aftermarket or factory heat-protection film suffer accelerated interior wood/upholstery UV damage and excessive HVAC generator wear.
  • Engine Service Compliance: Twin MAN V8-1200 engines require strict 1,000-hour major service compliance (heat exchangers, intercoolers, and turbos). Deferred MAN maintenance heavily penalizes market valuation during buyer pre-purchase surveys.

Location & Regional Value Drivers:

  • Florida & Caribbean Sun Exposure: Sun-belt vessels exhibit faster gelcoat chalking and teak deck wear than freshwater or northern boats.
  • US-Spec / Import Status: US models sold through MarineMax feature factory 60Hz 120V/240V electrical systems, US Coast Guard compliance, and US Duty Paid status. Grey-market 50Hz European imports trade at a significant discount due to conversion costs and limited North American dealer warranty support.
