The 32ST is a fishing machine. Built for kite fishing in Miami, the 32ST embodies “Performance Through Innovation”. Years of improvements and custom boat building have created a 32 that is unsurpassed for performance and “fish-ability”. The attention to detail allows you to custom build a boat that fits your needs, whether it’s a blustery day offshore or a lake calm day at the sandbar.
from the Powerboat Guide: "A proven tournament winner and one of the dominant boats in her class, the stepped hull Contender 32 ST combines aggressive lines with speed, fuel efficiency, and range. Like all Contenders, the 32 ST is a semi-custom boat and it would be unusual to find two that are exactly alike.
Boasting an uncluttered deck plan with wide walkways and recessed rails, common features include an integrated dive platform, a walk-in console with marine head, four insulated in-deck fish boxes (130 and 96 gallons forward, two 60-gallon boxes aft), twin 40-gallon transom livewells, lockable in-deck rod storage (forward), tackle storage, leaning post with backrest, cockpit bolsters, pop-up bow light, lockable electronics storage, removable rear seat, K-plane trim tabs, and a transom door. The forward console seat lifts for access to wiring, and optional forward seating helps make this a versatile family fishing boat. The fit and finish lavished on the 32 ST is as good as it gets. With its nearly 2 mpg cruise at 35 knots (reported), the Contender’s range with over 300 gallons of fuel is impressive.
Expect a top speed in excess of 60 knots with twin 300 Yamaha 4-stroke outboards."
