Murray Yacht Sales is proud to announce the expansion of our Gulf Coast team into Corpus Christi, Texas, with the addition of yacht broker William Cox. This strategic move strengthens our on-the-ground representation in South Texas, reinforcing our commitment to serving boaters throughout the Gulf Coast.
While Murray Yacht Sales has long supported the Coastal Bend region from our Clear Lake Shores office, establishing a dedicated local broker in Corpus Christi allows us to better serve buyers and sellers in one of Texas’ most active sailing and fishing markets. With offices spanning the Gulf Coast from the West Coast of Florida to South Texas, the expansion further invests in our regional expertise backed by coast-wide exposure.
William brings both professional leadership and firsthand boating experience to the role. A lifelong mariner whose passion for sailing accelerated in recent years, he holds a U.S. Coast Guard OUPV license and ASA 101–105 certifications. He is an active member of the Corpus Christi boating community, regularly cruising aboard his Jeanneau 39i.
Before entering yacht brokerage full-time, William served as a Fire Chief and City Manager, a career shaped by service, precision, and integrity. He now applies those same principles, along with his Lean Six Sigma background, to provide clients with a structured, transparent, and seamless brokerage experience. His past as an ultra-trail runner and triathlete continues to inform the discipline and dedication he brings to helping clients navigate the buying and selling process.
