This 2007 Albin Tournament Express has been stowed in an Intracoastal Waterway boatlift (see pictures) throughout the owners’ tenure.
The boat incurred minor cosmetic damage during a storm event in 2020 with no saltwater intrusion into the hull or cabin.
The experienced owners are sailors “at heart” and are parting with this vessel to purchase a larger sailboat.
The list below outlines the projects completed in 2020/2021 to keep the vessel looking and running great:
1. All-new upgraded canvas bimini and Isinglass (approximately $9,000.00)
2. New bow thruster motor
3. Complete hull paint job, including Awlgrip high-solids clear coats
4. Complete bottom job
5. New hand and bow rails
6. All running gear stripped to bare metal and professionally recoated
7. One bilge pump was replaced and the other was inspected and thoroughly cleaned
8. Movable parts, such as windows, hatches & ports all inspected and refurbished
9. Professional Inspections of all systems, including engine
10. Small repairs were made throughout the boat as needed pursuant to the inspection.
These include new rub rail screws and through-bolts, new pinstriping, captain chair base repair, swim platform restoration, new wiper motor, etc.
11. Complete top side compounded and clear protection coat applied (non-skid, back deck, cabin and wheelhouse top were all completed)
