The Gib'Sea line appeals to the true cruising sailor with light and warm interiors, optimum ventilation with opening hatches in each cabin, a generally sized head and shower, trademarked dolphin nose anchoring system. Dufour purchased Gilbert Marine/Gib'Sea in the mid-1990s, and Dufour reintroduced the Gib'Sea Series in 1999, with production ending in 2009. The 2003 Dufour Gib'Sea 37 "Nomad" is the preferred American layout of two cabins and one head. The port cockpit locker has room for a generator and will still have storage space left over.
