The Prestige 420S represents the sportier side of the lineup from Prestige Yachts, blending performance, contemporary styling, and the brand’s philosophy of art de vivre—the French idea that life on the water should emphasize comfort, light, and social living spaces.

The 420S is a sport coupe that delivers responsive handling without sacrificing the interior volume and comfort typically associated with cruising motor yachts.

The 420S was introduced in 2015 and built until 2025.  The design was improved in 2019 with the MKII.  The MkII introduced a slightly longer and wider hull, increasing interior volume and stability. It also features a single-level main deck layout with larger windows and an opening hardtop. The engines went from Volvo Penta IPS 500 to Cummins QSB 6.7 with V shafts and increased the displacement for better cruising characteristics.

Improvements include:

  • More spacious full-beam master stateroom
  • Larger hull windows for more natural light
  • Improved salon layout with better flow between cockpit and interior
  • Improved cruising range thanks to refinements in hull design and efficiency.
  • Garroni Design Studio styling

Exterior Design and Performance

The Prestige 420S is a sports coup. The low profile, long side windows, and streamlined hardtop give the boat a modern, aggressive appearance compared with traditional flybridge cruisers.

One of the defining features is the electric sliding sunroof, which transforms the salon into an open-air environment for those cooler days when you want the warmth of the sun or to be able to look up at the stars. This creates a seamless connection between the cockpit and interior spaces—an increasingly popular feature in European yacht design.

The hull is solid glass. Combined with a moderate beam and relatively shallow draft, the design provides stable coastal cruising performance while maintaining access to shallow anchorages and marinas.

Interior Layout and Living Space

Prestige has long prioritized natural light and interior flow, and the 420S reflects that philosophy.

The salon features:

  • A U-shaped seating area
  • Panoramic windows
  • A centrally positioned helm station
  • A well-equipped galley

Below deck, the boat offers two staterooms:

  • Forward VIP cabin
  • Full-beam master stateroom

Large hull windows provide natural light and a sense of openness rarely found in yachts this size. The layout comfortably accommodates two couples, making the boat suitable for extended weekends or coastal cruising.
