- Some time ago the question came up, and it is now available! The First 30 is now optionally equipped with a tilt steering wheel, for those of you in search of less technical and more comfortable sailing.
- A simple, easy and powerful solution Thanks to the new steering wheel, which is more instinctive and less technical than a tiller, you can now sail on board the First 30 as you would on a cruising yacht. The tilt, allows you to position yourself in the axis, on starboard or port side, depending on the boat trim and to steer windward or leeward. At harbour these same functions will make moving about easier and will make it easy to access the rear of the boat. The sensitivity and precision of the tiller are preserved, thanks to a mechanical system which requires only one turn to go from stop to stop.
- Optimized safety and clear access to the sea This modification of the helm station implies the removal of the mainsheet rail, which is situated to the rear on the beam, to replace it with a fixed sheet system to the fore of the steering wheel. The beam is now replaced by 2 liftable and removable helm seats – which clearly makes access to the sea easier in relation to the tiller version.
