Oceanis 47: A Legacy Reimagined for the Modern Sailor
Experience the world premiere of the Oceanis 47 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 and the North America Debut at the US Sailboat Show / Annapolis Boat Show. This cruising yacht is a testament to timeless elegance and expert design, embodying the core DNA of the Oceanis line. Crafted through a collaboration between Finot-Conq and Nauta Yacht Design, the Oceanis 47 builds upon nearly 40 years of trusted expertise. It seamlessly blends sleek aesthetics, luxurious comfort, and cutting-edge marine innovations, making it ideal for ocean sailing. In true BENETEAU spirit, the Oceanis 47 offers a perfect harmony of performance and onboard comfort, empowering ocean enthusiasts to confidently explore the globe.
As the second in a new generation of Oceanis cruising yachts, the Oceanis 47 is the culmination of a passionate team’s expert craftsmanship, deeply attuned to the evolving needs of contemporary sailors. For over two years, through continuous engagement with a panel of BENETEAU owners, our extensive global distributor network, and charter companies, we meticulously observed changing sailing habits. This insight allowed us to reimagine a cruiser that is more aligned with current uses, exceptionally comfortable, and always focused on the sailor’s experience. This sailor-centric approach has resulted in a cruising yacht that is both more capable and meticulously designed.
Innovative Design, Enhanced Experience
The Oceanis 47 captivates with its graceful aft lines and balanced, elegant profile. Its pronounced chine lends a sporty aesthetic to this cruising yacht. Thanks to the Finot-Conq hull design, which extends the full beam to the transom, the generously proportioned cockpit offers unparalleled living space.
The Ultimate Gathering Spot
Outperforming its predecessors in both space and layout, the cockpit of the Oceanis 47 is meticulously designed for effortless maneuvering and supreme comfort, whether sailing or at anchor. Every detail on deck prioritizes bringing people together without compromising safety. The L-shaped cockpit features comfortable seating and two large tables that open up the space, ensuring easy access and a relaxed flow. For families, the enclosed cockpit provides a safer sailing environment and additional aft seating with integrated storage lockers. This versatile area can easily transform into an outdoor galley, complete with a plancha grill. Alternatively, the open cockpit offers expansive and direct access to the sea.
Effortless Sailing, Uncompromised Performance
The Oceanis 47 redefines the pleasure of sailing, blending ease of handling with exhilarating performance. This versatile cruising yacht offers a wide array of customizable layouts to suit any sailing adventure.
The standard model prioritizes maneuverability, even with a small crew, thanks to its in-mast furling system and self-tacking jib. For those seeking a more dynamic experience, the First Line Pack elevates performance with a taller mast and expanded sail area, unleashing the yacht’s full potential across all points of sail.

Interior & Exterior Designer
For two decades, Nauta Design has fostered a close collaboration with the Beneteau brand, embracing contradictions as a challenge. A yacht, in our vision, must be an object of extreme beauty, one that consistently delights the observer for years to come. Our distinctive approach is fueled by the desire to create a balanced blend: elegance with ease of handling, style with performance, and comfort with seaworthiness. This philosophy guides our design process as we transform ideas into reality, hand-in-hand with modern technology. This renowned team, comprising 20 shipyard specialists, has worked intensely on the project for the past two years. Their contributions, combined with extensive input from the Beneteau family—including dealers and customer panels—have meticulously defined this new generation to meet all expectations.
