Disclaimer
The SELLER has been monitoring the following that are common issues on Baba 35 sisterships and would consider addressing in the next couple of years.
- Teak and plywood core issues in the deck.
- Mast Step
- Engine over heats when run wide open
The tachometer on Halcyon is incorrect. The proper sending unit is no longer available. However, we used a remote tach gun and learned that 1800 rpm on the gauge is actually 2400 rpm on the engine. And it cascades down from there to idle. I spent day with a beam reach and engine at 1200 rpms (low). In flat water, no sail, 1800 rpm on the gauge and she cruised at about 6.3 kts.
