Description
Handyman/Dealer Special: Rare opportunity to purchase a well founded high quality houseboat at a greatly reduced price. Owners have moved on to land and don’t have the time or desire to take on the project themselves-their loss could be your very substantial monetary gain. The boat is and has been fully functioning as a liveaboard for the past 10 years and many more years prior to the current owner’s use. The nature of the needed repairs is limited non-structural requiring spot repairs to small areas of decking, sub flooring and limited sections of some sidewall areas as well as other typical items usually found on a survey. Repair estimates from local Boston based technicians will be available to serious buyers as well as a very recent professional marine survey. The interior is in very good condition with a beautiful galley and 3 staterooms one of which can function as an office if desired. The boat can actually be lived on in her present condition with all appliances and liveaboard systems in good working order. The repairs need to be done only because they have been uncovered at survey and need to be remedied primarily for insurability and future longevity. Again, they are NOT of a critical structural nature. Additionally, the boat has the greatly added value of being located at arguably the best liveaboard marina in the entire Northeast-the Charlestown Marina! AND-she can remain there for her new owner! This fact alone adds serious value to any houseboat! Call or write Ron Housman for more details and information.

Engine Details & Mechanical Equipment
* NOTE: the twin Mercruiser stern drives are inoperable as is the generator. No one drives houseboats like this in Boston Harbor so this is essentially insignificant and also eliminates 3 big maintenance items the new owner won’t have to worry about. The boat is insurable in this condition. The Charlestown marina almost never loses power for any serious extent of time so a generator is also unnecessary.
